To The Stars 02:31

It seems to me that this is perfect I'd like the memories to remain But just like everything, too easily Memories fade and they can change Now there's not a second to lose So hold that pose a little longer Like a detonated fuse, time is running fast So hold it right there, I want this second to last Names of places and peoples faces Vanished and lost without a trace and Sights and sounds and touch and tastes Memories replaced by empty spaces Come back to me Come back to me Why won't it come back to me There's not a second to lose So hold that pose a little longer Like a detonated fuse, time is running fast So hold it right there, I want this second to last

I've never known what words to say To articulate these thoughts inside my brain Every day. Words fail me every day So I'm quite comfortable to stay Here inside this silent cage [So I sit by your side, this is me trying, you can't help but feel awkward when I'm being so quiet, maybe you're right, maybe I'm wrong, maybe it'd be easier if I was alone] So is this the way that it should be? Not from what I've seen in movies and TV Everyone together and happy, except the villains Alone and lonely I'm not the villain though, surely? Not in my own story...

White Whale 05:15
Relax, I'm not in it for the kill. I don't chase it for the hunt but for the thrill. If I could catch one glimpse I would die happy Just to know that it truly exists... You don't need to understand why I live this way I could spend my whole life searching for that whale. Just to se it emerge from the cold dark waves To not even try would be the same as to fail. Set sail! Looking for that white whale

Something in particular A flicker in the nucleus A spark ignites your consciousness It's something in particular What is it in particular that sets us all apart? The decision of division happens without thinking We split apart forever cellularly Fractured to perfection, seeking reconnection Looking for the answer in a hand-held screen How peculiar it is to be A cluster of atoms with thoughts and feelings Understanding that you're temporary Helpless and humble in the swirl of infinity. Something in particular A flicker in the nucleus Cells divide and conquer, yes A spark ignites your consciousness Something in particular Elements of what you are Born inside a distant star Something in particular

Forever 04:05
If you had said yes I'd dress just to impress you everyday I'd shave my face, appreciate your grace, and love you always And when the last star surrenders to the light of dawn I'd be there girl, to infinity and beyond 'Cos I don't think it's a game And I think you're worth the wait So when you feel the same Here I am -- Forever, I am. So if you've got some time you know I'd kind of like to spend it with you Walking outside in the twilight, maybe a dinner for two. I'd be the best you'd ever wished for, the best you'd ever had This means something, this is important. 'Cos I don't think it's a game And I think you're worth the wait So when you feel the same Here I am -- Forever, I am.

We were together and I was happy We broke apart Honey, I was sad But ain't no use in feeling low When I remember what we had. The song that we wrote, it hit every note Now I'm whistling a different tune So if you want me, I'm right where you left me Over the moon. Nobody ever said it was easy Everybody knows that love can be hard Wish I may and try I might But it just wasn't in the cards The club that we made girl we had it in spades But hearts and diamonds can be so cruel So if you need me, I'm right where you left me Over the moon. The song that we wrote, yeah it hit every note Now I'm whistling a different tune So if you want me, I'm right where you left me Over the moon
